I had been looking for plus sized board shorts for what seems like forever and was glad to finally find some that didn’t look like old women shorts. I normally wear a size 16, but I figured these shorts wouldn’t have much “give” to them, so I bought a XXL; which should have been PLENTY big. However, they were not!! They were about a size Large. I even had my size 10 step-mother try them on and they fit her perfectly!
I was VERY unhappy with these shorts. Somehow my children lost all the paperwork, so I was unable to even return them. I had to sell them (at a discounted price) to a friend who is a size 12.
If you buy these shorts, you better buy at leasat 2 sizes bigger than normal.

the shorts were great but you need to order them at least one size bigger to get them to fit you. they run small. if you like baggy order them 2 sizes bigger. i love the shorts but i ordered medium my regular size and they did not fit me at all. called the company and they were very prompt with the info on returning.

Usually an XL is too big for me, but I ordered an XL based on the other customer’s reviews. These are still WAY too small! I’m very disappointed considering how much they cost.

After reading the reviews here I ordered this only one size larger than I normally buy… and it ended up really being too large. However, they were very nice about processing an exchange, with very little hassle. The board shorts fit well and are as described. The only thing I dislike about them is that you can’t really adjust the lace too much without making the surrounding fabric bunch up weirdly, so you really do need them in the correct size! they look very nice, and I am very happy I ordered them =)

Amazing and oh so comfortable!!!! Also if you have a little tummy, they look fantastic with a bikini!
